How we actually work.
What follows describes how a Smart Reno job runs — who is accountable, how the price behaves, and what is covered after handover. Where we don't hold a credential, we say so.
1. A named project manager on every job
One person is accountable for your renovation from hacking through to handover, and signs off each phase before the next begins. You get their name and number before work starts.
2. A 12-month workmanship warranty
Workmanship defects, and materials we supply, are covered for 12 months from handover. Wear and tear, and work by vendors you engage directly, are not. The full terms are in our Terms of Service.
3. What we don't claim
We are HomeTrust verified. We are not CaseTrust accredited, and we don't say otherwise — that scheme carries deposit protection we cannot offer until it is issued. If a contractor's badges matter to you, ask them for the certificate number and check it. That includes us.
4. The quote is the price
Packages are quoted as a fixed price for a defined scope. That figure does not move during hacking or masonry unless you ask for something outside the scope — and if you do, it is priced and agreed in writing before the work happens.
